It's been a while! Either the sign of someone who is letting their blog go, or someone who is too busy for their own good. To be completely honest, it's probably a little bit of both.
I just got back from VSLive! and must say, I do enjoy this series of conferences. There seems to be a lot less "sales presentation" and a lot more meat. The hotel was great and the presenters were top notch. It seems there's a lot of energy out there in regards to the latest technologies including:
- Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
- Windows WorkFlow (WF)
- Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Linq
- Silverlight
- Entity Framework
- Model View Controller (MVC) Framework
I have a lot of notes I can't wait to share, plus some observations. There was also a keynote given by Scott Hanselman that was incredible. Some people just have a gift for breaking things down to a level that anyone can understand. He covered Dynamic Data and MVC to an audience that was nothing short of neutral. However, by the time he finished, I truly believe he reached almost everyone in there. It was quite an engaging presentation.
